e-FLORA-sys will propose soon a database of the principal associations and vegetation types described for the grasslands. Regional typologies on grasslands will be also recorded in this database. This base will make possible to know the degree of similarity of an unspecified statement with a grouping, an association or a type of grassland describes in the base “associations”. This will allow, for example, calculating an index of conservation of the habitats, or knowing the how close is a grassland from a type of grasslands (resulting from a regional typology) .
